A plaque is being unveiled at Uncle Tom’s Cabin this morning as part of the Emancipation Day celebration.The Ontario Heritage Trust is commemorating civil rights activist Hugh Burnett and the National Unity Association. Program Assistant for Uncle Tom’s Cabin Brenda Lambkin says there’s plenty to do after the unveiling.Like live music, a multi lingual singer and a story teller.The celebration runs from 10 until 3 — with the plaque ceremony at 10:30.
