Organizers are calling the CK On The Edge festival a success, despite falling short of its attendance goal. Board President Lesley Grand says final numbers aren’t in, but thinks about 5,000 people attended the various performances and events. Organizers were hoping for 10-15,000 attendees. Grand says the festival did achieve its main goal — to showcase contemporary art to Chatham-Kent.
Just because people were downtown for Tastefest and Dances in the Park, doesn’t imply any connection to this event – the poetry ’slam’, and the ‘nazi’ play had a very small attendance.
