Chatham Councillor Steve Pickard is no longer in police custody. The 40-year-old was released on a $10,000 surety this afternoon. Pickard spent two night’s behind bars, following his arrest on Monday afternoon. Police are accusing him of uttering threats, assault and forceable confinement. Authorities are staying tight lipped about the details of the case.
