Well, a new site, new attitude, and new way forward for 94.3 CKSY- Chatham-Kent’s BEST Music! I am excited for this venture. I have been a part of the CKSY team since September of 2008 and love EVERY moment of it. For my first radio “gig” this opportunity has been fulfilling. Most people in my position, fresh out of school, looking for a break, end up having to pack up and leave town… I was lucky enough to get the position in a community I know and love. Some highlights over the past couple of years have been the Secret Santa parties for Christmas and last year’s Backyard Bar-B-Crew parties were a blast. I have enjoyed meeting so many CKSY listeners and have been in awe of how Chatham-Kent can come together time and time again to help each other out.

Having been a member of the Blackburn “team” since I was 15 ( now being over 45) I feel I can tell a few things about your new site. It is great that people like myself 1000’s of miles away can check on Chatham but since when does a Canadian radio station on Canada’s Day promote an AMERICAN PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE?
Do you remember how horified we were when Canadian school kids though Ronald Reagan was our president, even though Canada does not even have a president.
